Illustration Friday: Seed, Healing Sketch #7 & MOO Sticker Competition

(Click image for a closer look)

She said, "Mark my words, leave the seeds to the birds."
But he paid no heed, he swallowed a seed.

After all the fooling around of the last few days (in terms of styles), it felt so good to go back to one of my primary styles!
:)

Had a lot of fun with this.

In other news, I'm one of the 90 winner's of the MOO Sticker Design Competition! One of my stickers made it into the limited edition StickerBook! Woo hoo!

Below are the designs I submitted.

I originally made these(among others) when I won a MOO promotional pack (the prize offer expires in June and I haven't claimed it yet! Yikes!), in one of the random draws on the Illustration Friday blog, and when I stumbled upon the sticker competition, I decided to enter them on a whim.

'Billy' won! :)

Guess I've been lucky lately!

And oh, I'd like to say a huge 'Thank you' to everyone who's taken time to drop by and leave a comment over the last few days! Your feedback never fails to make my day!

:D

Cheers,
Radha

UPDATE: Another take on the same topic in the same style here.

That's hilarious. It reminds me of when I was little and adults would say, "Don't swallow watermelon seeds or you'll grow a watermelon in your belly."

this is so great!

we had the same idea too---i originally drew a boy with a flower coming out of his mouth (but it looked awful) i love your design and color choices!

The boy and the worm seem a little upset... but the bird looks pretty happy. I love the little eyebrow on the bird! Awesome.

Fantastic! The concept, the illo and the rhyme are great! Love it!

Congrats on your Moo Sticker win too! Yay!! Those are really cute stickers. I like that style. I like all of your styles. You are very versatile. But your little stylized, vector characters are my fav!
